We have an urgent announcement to make in preparation for RATRATAN
2007.
Popularairsoft.com is now in talks with several airsoft groups in the
United States, United Kingdom and Hong Kong, and we are looking for a
potential partner airsoft group in the Philippines for a first of its
kind airsoft event.
This airsoft event is a global milsim event covering 3 continents that
will happen on the same day, targeted to be in the middle of 2008.
We are at a loss as to what airsoft group in the Philippines we should
select as many are well-organised and have great experiences in
organising big airsoft events.
We decided to make our selection based on team/group participation at
Ratratan 2007 on 15 December 2007. The selection will be:
1. Team/Group organisation and cohesion
2. Must have at least 20 active members in its roster
3. Must have an existing team/group website
4. A track record of organising airsoft events
5. Come as the biggest contingent for Ratratan 2007
As limited slots are available for RATRATAN 2007, it would be great
that reservation forms be submitted immediately to assure you and your
team of the slot.
A trophy will be awarded to the selected airsoft group/team and
discussions in organising the event will immediately commence as it wil entail
much planning and coordination on a global scale.
Our aim is to have this event to be the largest and most unique of its
kind. And we would like the Philippine airsoft community to have an
active participation in it.
This partnership will benefit the partner group and the larger airsoft
community.
May we request that this notice be posted also at various team
boards/fora and we send our heartfelt thanks to those who do so.
This is the initial salvo for the next year's big event and as soon as
more details come out, we will be announcing these.
Interested teams can email events@popularairsoft.com. We will also
include team logos in the materials of RATRATAN 2007.
Deadline for submission of registration forms will be on 12 December
2007 at 12noon (GMT + 8), or as soon as all the allocated 300 slots are
filled up.
